Gail Crawford - Sonographer
MAppSc (MIT), Grad Dip (Medical Sonography), AMS, Grad Dip (Business Administration)
Gail has extensive ultrasound experience in Australia and the United Kingdom. She has worked in public and private practices holding senior positions at three major tertiary hospitals in Western Australia.
Roles at Sir Charles Gairdner Hospital, King Edward Memorial Hospital and Princess Margaret Hospital involved ultrasound tutoring for a range of clinicians – emergency physicians, respiratory, radiology registrars and midwives.
Gail’s public sector experience includes spending two years as a tutor sonographer for Western Australia Country Health Service.
Gail is the current chairperson for the Australasian Sonographers Association in Western Australia and
she has presented at local and national meetings.
Samantha Ward - Sonographer
DipAppSc, DMU, AMS, AFASA
Samantha Ward is an Accredited Medical Sonographer with over 18 years clinical experience. She has worked in both the private and public health sectors within Australia and has been extensively involved in ultrasound education. Samantha has a special interest in gynaecological ultrasound, infertility, high risk obstetrics and multiple pregnancy.
Samantha is on the Board of Examiners for the Graduate Diploma of Medical Ultrasound and has an Associate Fellowship with the Australian Sonographers Association. She has presented at national and local ultrasound conferences and has had peer reviewed work published.
Samantha regularly visits rural and remote locations in WA to perform general and obstetric ultrasound
Dr Matt Brooks
Matt graduated from The University of London (UK) with a Bachelor of Medicine / Bachelor of Surgery in 1999. He received a fellowship of the Royal College of Radiologists (UK) in 2006 and became a member of the Royal Australian and New Zealand College of Radiologists in 2011.
Dr Brookes has extensive experience in body and breast imaging, interventional procedures and MRI. He is currently the WA Team Clinical Leader at Capital Radiology and has had previous roles at SCGH, Fremantle, Fiona Stanley Hospital, PRC and Insight.
Matt visits Narrogin Ultrasound on a regular basis to perform interventional procedures including ultrasound guided steroid injections, FNA and core biopsies.
Linda Nottle - Receptionist
Linda was born, educated and married in Narrogin WA. After graduating Year 12 at Narrogin Senior High School she completed an Enrolled Nursing qualification and was employed at the Narrogin Hospital until her first child was born.
After raising her three children Linda returned to the workforce firstly as a swimming instructor and then as an employee for Rural Youth. Most recently she worked as an Electorate Officer to the local Member of Parliament until his recent retirement.
Linda is a highly regarded member of the Narrogin community and is an asset to Narrogin Ultrasound.
Bev Wright - Receptionist
Bev was a city girl until she moved to Wagin 10 years ago and is now a country girl at heart. She has over 20 years’ experience in Administration and Customer Service having worked in roles as a Receptionist, Administration Assistant and Parts Sales Representative.
